Enjoying the details of the leafless trees have given me the incentive to create more etchings. The center etching has made a threesome to enjoy.

Blue Herons are beautiful and inspired me co create an etching. I have printed the plate in sepia and and a pale purple. I remember seeing the Blue Herons asleep in the trees when we visited Kauai.

Strolling through the pine trees, I was amazed to discover some unique mushrooms. Some were tall and slender; others had no stem.

I enjoyed using two plates to create 'Blue Herons'. The smaller plate in the background is etching and dry-point etching. The larger plate is an aquatint etching. I'm still interested and going to try other colors and papers to see how the herons appear.
